Google is well known for their sense of humor and somewhat relaxed look on life, when they can. This very simple flash based online mini game has spread like a wildfire across the globe this year, addicted millions of people. It was created as a promo for Microsofts FlightSimX, but has already more or less received cult status. It was created by Amnesia but while you may not lose your memory from playing it, people have claimed to lose their jobs, girlfriends etc., and in some cases maybe you will have a blackout of too many hours of continuos play and frustration trying to climb on the world-wide score chart.

How could something so simple get there? I don’t know, maybe simply because it is so simple. One of the corner stones in marketing; keep it simple stupid.
